how to get rid of heartburn

Whether you know it as heartburn, acid reflux, or GERD, it all means that you’re having trouble with excess stomach acid backing up into your esophagus. Even though there are a myriad of products you can take that all claim to take care of the problem, many people are reluctant to put a lot of chemicals into their bodies. They are always looking for more natural ways to take care of health issues. The following is a list of seven natural cures that people can use to avoid the pain of heartburn.

1. Drink plenty of water. The fastest way to get rid of heartburn is by consuming a glass of cold water. Drinking water will help to dilute the gas so you’ll have an easier time moving it through your digestive system. If something stronger is necessary, you might try dissolving 2 teaspoons of baking soda in the water.

2. Choose your foods carefully. Eating the wrong foods will certainly increase the chances of experiencing heartburn. Some of the common triggers are spicy foods, citrus fruits, tomatoes, chocolates, garlic, caffeinated beverages, and alcohol, especially when eaten to close to bedtime or before lying down for a nap. Eat smaller amounts of food at one sitting too so that you don’t get your stomach too full.

3. Try eating a few almonds too. Your digestive system will benefit from the almonds. Don’t swallow them in large chunks, as it’s very important that you chew them up thoroughly in order to prevent further problems.

4. You can also try apple cider vinegar instead of adding baking soda to your water.  Just put two teaspoons in and sip the mixture very slowly. If you are a heartburn sufferer, it’s a good idea to drink a glass of this with each meal.

5. You can also drink herbal tea to alleviate your heartburn. You can likely keep heartburn symptoms at bay for the entire day by drinking peppermint tea with honey added to it. Peppermint tea is very soothing for the pain caused by heartburn.

6. Ginger will relax your esophageal muscles and bring you relief. Ginger comes in various forms such as powdered, pickled, and raw. It’s excellent for digestive health, and a small bite can stop an attack dead in its tracks.

7. Aloe vera juice is a good option for women who are suffering heartburn while pregnant. After you eat breakfast in the morning, drink two teaspoons of the juice. It isn’t a good idea to take it on an empty stomach. You will find that it soothes irritated tissues in your esophagus.   Doc No. 34Sdlhgsdl -sds
